The Friess Lake School District understands the need for collaboration of parents, community, staff and students when making decisions and will enable students to be goal-oriented and successful in a wide variety of academic, social, personal, and creative areas.

Friess Lake Action Group

FLAG is the acronym for ‘Friess Lake Action Group” and its members are composed of parents, guardians and faculty of the school.

Mission/Purpose:

The mission of FLAG is to promote the Friess Lake School District, its students and teachers by encouraging parent, family and faculty involvement in fundraising and other activities to support the welfare of our entire school body.

 

Vision:

The vision of FLAG is to offer additional value without imposing any direct solicitation of monetary contributions from the Friess Lake School families while still being able to provide enhancements to the school body.

 

Goals:

Raise money through various fundraising activities positively impacting education, technology, safety, and the environment of the school, students and faculty.

Utilize FLAG as the vehicle for networking and interacting between students, faculty and families to accelerate the awareness of school/fundraising functions and other communications. FLAG communicates via the Friess Lake Flyer, Dolphin Dispatch, written material and email.

Provide convenient services to the students, faculty and parents.

 

How to Get Involved

It is very simple to get involved! You can participate by attending the monthly FLAG meetings open to all parents, guardians and faculty. The meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6:30pm in the school FACE room. Please contribute your time, talent, resources and efforts for fundraising and other/activities. The opportunities are limitless, you can volunteer to coordinate a fundraiser or activity and/or you can participate by attending the fundraising events, collecting the various items indicated by FLAG, purchasing scrip and market day and much more.
