Deon Horton works for WE Energies and is a devoted chess player, proud father and husband.    He was the WI Scholastic State Champion in 1991.   Deon currently coaches a chess club at Shroeder YMCA and has been tournament director in 4 of the WSCF Summer Beginners Tournaments.   Deon is listed among Wisconsin’s 100 top chess players and has a current USCF rating of 1746.
